Capital Expenditure (Capex) Management: Evaluate and approve capital expenditure requests (CERs), perform ROI analysis, and track project costs against budget. Ensure proper accounting for fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposal. Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish, maintain, and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure data integrity, and mitigate financial risks within the plant operations. Ensure strict compliance with all relevant statutory regulations (e.g., GST, Income Tax, Companies Act), corporate policies, and ethical guidelines. Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors for all plant-related financial audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and information are provided. Business Partnering: Act as a trusted financial advisor to the Plant Head and cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, HR) to support operational decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Provide financial insights for make-or-buy decisions, new product introductions, and process optimization projects.
